How much can be borrowed against a flat priced at ₹51 lakh?
MPR Urban City starts at ₹51 lakh. If a bank funds 80 percent of that price, the loan is ₹40.8 lakh and the buyer arranges ₹10.2 lakh, before duty and charges. The bank may fund less.

Eighty percent is a convention, not an entitlement
A home loan for a 50 lakh flat is the search. The ongoing flat whose price is published on this site starts a little above that, at ₹51 lakh, at MPR Urban City in Pati Ghanpur, Patancheru. Eighty percent of ₹51 lakh is ₹40.8 lakh. The remaining 20 percent is ₹10.2 lakh. Stamp duty, registration and the bank’s charges are outside that division. They have to be arranged as well.
A bank does not always fund 80 percent of the price in the agreement. It may fund a percentage of its own valuation, and that valuation can be lower than the price. The difference is still the buyer’s cash. The figure of ₹40.8 lakh should therefore be read as the result of one assumption, and replaced by the sanction once the bank has valued the flat.
