Future City Development Authority: which village limit a buyer can rely on.
Buyers are repeating village names around the Future City as if the boundary had already moved. A wider list is not a rezoning. The line that matters is the one a notification has already drawn, read against one survey number.

A village name in conversation is not a new limit
Future City Development Authority is now used as a reason to reprice land across south Hyderabad. The names that travel with that talk include Maheshwaram, Tukkuguda, Mucherla and Kadthal, along with Thummaloor and the Srisailam Highway. A name in a conversation, or on a brochure map, is not the same thing as a notified limit. On 19 October 2026, Hyderabad Mail reported that the state was considering a wider authority across Maheshwaram and the remaining villages of Kandukur, and that a study had been asked for. The same report placed only Mohabatnagar and Tummaloor inside the authority at that time.
A study is an administrative step. It is not a sale deed, and it is not a completed rezoning. Until a later notification says otherwise, a buyer should treat those two villages as the ones the report placed inside, and every other village as a place to check. The report spells the village Tummaloor. Harivillu Homes publishes the gate as Thummaloor. The spelling on the revenue record of the survey number is the one that belongs on the paper.
